Important Update: SODA Student Showcase Venue Change
Dear SODA Families & Friends,
This is an important update regarding our SODA Student Showcase scheduled for this coming Sunday, February 15th. Due to Timberlane rescheduling the middle school play, our showcase venue has unfortunately changed. With the help of our SODA families and students, we were able to secure a wonderful alternative location
.
The showcase will now take place at Sanborn Regional High School Auditorium, right here in Kingston. The performance time remains 3:00 PM, and ticket prices will remain the same.
Please note that if you previously purchased online tickets for reserved seating at Timberlane, seating at Sanborn will be general admission. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. That said, Sanborn’s auditorium offers excellent seating throughout, and we are confident everyone will have a great view of the show. You can still use the link below to purchase tickets, but please remember they will be for general admission at Sanborn High School.
Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support. We can’t wait to share this special performance with you and are so excited for our dancers to shine on stage!

Come see SODA solo, duo, trio, elite, production tap &
senior groups perform at Sanborn High School in Kingston
on Sunday, February 15th @3pm!
All company students participating in our first competition will be performing in showcase.
This is a great chance for dancers to run their dances on stage, and an opportunity for family members to come watch solos, duos, & trios that will not be in recital.
Tickets are $15 each, and are available online.

SHINING STARS
“Where Everyone’s A Star”
Shining Stars is a non-profit organization founded in 2023. This amazing program offers free adaptive dance classes for those with learning differences; and includes dance wear, dance shoes, & costumes for all students. All “Shining Stars” dancers are paired with a volunteer teen dance buddy, and all of our instructors are certified by Rhythm Works Integrated Dance. This program helps students gain strength, coordination, & confidence, while having fun & making lifelong friendships.

Welcome to Steppin' Out Dance Academy "SODA"; it is our mission to provide high-quality dance education and fitness classes in a positive, nurturing, and confidence building environment. We strive to make learning fun, while giving students a strong, technical background. We offer recreational and competitive classes for all ages & levels; and truly believe that dance is for everybody. We also offer a free adaptive dance program called "Shining Stars".
